AD 2300, the human race has advanced to space, and a lot of planetary nations have been founded. Amaterasu is a newly built space battleship of a planetary nation, Kibi. It is operated by apprentice officers of Defense Academy. When it is about to return from the test flight, the Alliance of Henrietta Nations declares war against Kibi. The alliance destroys the battleships of Kibi by its overwhelming military power, and Kibi surrenders to the alliance. However, the apprentice officers in Amaterasu don't want to surrender without fighting. In order to fight against the alliance, they come up with an idea. They ask Galaxy Network, a galaxy wide TV network, to become their sponsor. In return for receiving money, they let Galaxy Network broadcast their war. Amaterasu and Galaxy Network, being involved various speculations, a solitary war of Amaterasu begins.

The story revolves mainly arround Apollo, a teenager rumored as the reencarnation of Apolonius, a fallen angel who fought against his own kind to protect mankind. Few believe it could be true, but the fact is that dispite his untamed and reckless nature, he proved to be an invaluable asset in the battle against the Shadow Angels.
The show chronicles the weekly adventures of the Cartwright family, headed by the thrice-widowed patriarch "Ben Cartwright" (Lorne Greene). He had three sons, each by a different wife: the eldest was the urbane architect "Adam Cartwright" (Pernell Roberts) who built the ranch house; the second was the warm and lovable giant Eric "Hoss" Cartwright (Dan Blocker); and the youngest was the hotheaded and impetuous Joseph or "Little Joe" (Michael Landon). Via exposition (Bonanza, "Rose For Lotta", premiere September 12, 1959) and flashback episodes, each wife was accorded a different ethnicity: English (Bonanza, "Elizabeth My Love"; episode #65) Swedish (Bonanza, "Inger My Love", episode #95) and French Creole (Bonanza, "Marie My Love", episode #120) respectively. The family's cook was the Chinese immigrant Hop Sing (Victor Sen Yung). Greene, Roberts, Blocker, and Landon were billed equally. The opening credits would alternate the order among the four stars.

The show revolved around two police officers who investigated homicides in San Francisco. The center of the series was a veteran cop and widower, Lt Mike Stone (Karl Malden), who had more than 20 years of police experience and was now assigned to the Homicide Detail of SFPD's Bureau of Inspectors. He was partnered with a young, energetic partner, Assistant Inspector Steve Keller (Michael Douglas), a college graduate, age 28, who had no police experience. Stone would become a second father to Keller as he learned the rigors and procedures of detective work.

On August 11th 2011, a rash of mysterious murders strikes the rural town of Inaba soon after high school student Yu Narukami moves from the city to live with his uncle. Yu soon discovers an unusual world on the other side of a TV that is linked to these deaths. On the other side people are facing shadowy monsters and the darker sides of their souls.
